We offer day care Monday to Friday, with lots of different options.
Abbey Nursery provides a happy, fun and stimulating environment for your child to grow and develop in a purpose built day nursery.
Full day: 8am to 6pm
Morning sessions: 8am to 12:50pm
Afternoon sessions: 1:10pm to 6pm
Term-time only morning sessions: 9am to 12pm
Term-time afternoon only sessions: 1pm to 4pm
We’re situated in a purpose-built building and offer a wide range of activities and experiences following the child’s interest, in line with the guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The play-based framework of the EYFS will help develop your child socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
All our managers, nursery officers and nursery assistants have qualifications in early years and childcare and Ofsted has rated us a good nursery. The nursery promotes equalities and diversity in line with London Borough of Barking and Dagenham policies.
We focus on each child’s individual needs to support their learning and development and offer:
- free education for two, three and four year olds with term time only places available
- healthy meals and snacks
- highly qualified caring nursery practitioners
- a fun and exciting, stimulating environment
- a secure purpose-built outdoor play area with all-weather surfaces
